I have always wanted to try Weidmuller’s device for a long time, but there were times when I didn’t have a chance and gave up.Then one day on a social networking site I tweeted “I’m looking for a CC Link IE TSN node!and I received an email from Weidmuller saying,
“I have a Weidmuller!I will lend the device to you!I”

CtrlX is a new platform from Bosch of Germany that allows you to install applications like a cell phone, exchange data between applications using the Data Layer, and even create your own APPS using the Open Platform.The Bosch Taiwanese people were very kind and helpful. EUCHNER
EUCHNER is not that well known in Japan, but it is a well-known German manufacturer of safety devices.What is interesting about EUCHNER’s door locks is that they can be freely combined with door switch buttons and lamps, just like LEGO.
I met someone from EUCHNER at an exhibition this year, and he immediately lent me an EUCHNER door lock.And he lent me an EUCHNER door lock together with an EtherCAT-P communication module, which is rare in Japan.Thanks to that, I was able to try the linkage between EtherCAT-P and FSoE for the first time.

Berghof-automation
Berghof is a German manufacturer that makes a variety of Codesys Controllers.It can be Raspberry PI based, panel based, or Compact Controller.I found Berghof just this year when I was looking for a Raspberry-based Codesys Controller, and what impressed me the most was that they immediately held a meeting and sent me a Controller right away.After interacting with their Controller, I was very impressed with their FSoE Master, IO Module, Cycle Time of 0.5ms, and their ability to support the selection of Codesys licenses.
We will be using their Controller again next year to develop various articles and videos.

TURCK is very well known in Japan,this year we also tested TURCK’s IP67 Codesys PLC and CIP Safety/Profisafe modules, which have internal logic in TURCK’s CIP Safety and Profisafe IO Block to realize distributed control with only safety communication with the host PLC.Of course, non-safety communication is also possible even with PLCs that do not support safety communication!That’s all I can say.

When it comes to plants, Yokogawa Electric is known as a Top,I don’t think anyone in Japan would argue with that.I had the chance to get to know such a giant in the PA industry and was able to try out their Ubuntu-based ert-3.The ert-3 can be installed in Yokogawa Electric’s PLC Rack and can acquire IO data for each Slot directly inside.Also, since it is Ubuntu-based, Docker can be supported, and applications often used in IOT, such as Node-Red, can be used directly.
