In this tutorial I will show you how to upgrade the firmware of PLCNEXT. It is better to keep your CPU running in the newest version to take advantage of security and using the new features.
Get firmware
Please get the newest firmware from the Phoenix Contact website. Open the Firmware tab>Choose your version and Download it. In this Example I am using an AXC F 3152 CPU and trying to upgrade to FW2022.5.

Accept the License Terms and Download it.
A Zip file is downloaded.
Inside the folder you can find the manual/modification log and the firmware file (.raucb).
Download Firmware
Now you can download the firmware to the CPU. Open your browser and enter the IP of your CPU your_ip_address/wbm to access the web server.
Go to Administration>Click the Firmware Update.
The Firmware Update screen is shown and click the Browse Button.
Choose the .raucb and open it.
Press the “Start Update” button to start the firmware update.
Please wait a mins..
Restart your CPU after the firmware update is finished.
Result
Finally,Let us check the Firmware version.
Go to Information>Click the General Data.
The firmware of the CPU is upgraded to 2022.5!

Hi, I have done it all exactly as outlined by you. But when I log in to the WBM, I don’t have the options listed in your example. I only have Information and Configuration. This is where I am stuck. Do you have any suggestions for me to do the update because I cannot connect my AXC F 2152 to the PLC Engineer software.
